From a family of traditional decorators, being fourth generation, his projects range from the decoration and customisation of furniture; ornament and home decor to antique & architectural elements. He has studied and practiced in several aspects of faux painting and gilding. His services include the customising of surfaces or ornament to match or enhance existing surroundings by means of specialist painting and gold leaf techniques.
As a decorative painter and gilder his skills include the ancient art of gold leaf water gilding. Using his craft of molding repairs combined with the art of Gilding and several ageing techniques allows him to work with minimum intervention on items such as antique furniture and gilt frames. His knowledge of paint and other media ensures a seamless repair.
His dedication has led him to work in numerous churches, period homes and listed buildings, most notably:
